The charming Wielandleben farm is located in the beautiful and peaceful village of Röthenbach in the Emmental.
The Wielandleben farm is located at an altitude of 1,020 meters. From here, you have a wonderful view of the Jura, Chasseral, Lüderenalp, and Napf. The rolling Emmental valley is at its best here. The Wieland family keeps various animals such as dairy cows, calves and cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, peacocks, ducks, bees, rabbits, and turkeys. The farm is run organically and various farm products are available for purchase.
Catering
With its beautiful view of the Jura mountains, the Hof Bistro is the perfect place to take a short break and slow down. The Hof Bistro is open all week. Cold drinks are available for guests in the self-service refrigerator at all times. During the week, the bistro also offers table service and, depending on how busy it is, hot drinks and sweet and/or savory snacks.
Overnight stays
On the first floor and in the attic of the listed barn, there are two double rooms for cozy weekends and vacations in the countryside. The rustic charm gives the rooms a cozy and charming atmosphere.

The room could not be insulated and is therefore a little cool on cold days. However, it can be heated with an electric stove (using fireclay bricks). This makes it nice and warm and cozy. We recommend staying overnight between May and October, depending on the weather. The floors are old and creak from time to time. The rustic country house style is alive and well here. The bathroom can be reached via the terrace, 100 meters away. The path to the bathroom can be lit by lamps. There are also additional flashlights in the room. On request, the Wielands can also provide a camping toilet in the room.

Various large aperitifs and wedding ceremonies are also offered. How the Wieland family cares for people with various disabilities. Three people live in permanent accommodation at the Stöckli, and up to eight people travel to the farm every day for the assisted day care program.
Farm products
Everything that can be found around the house is processed here and preserved in the form of cider, jelly, flour, pasta, tea, and herbs. This means that most of the food is homemade, fresh, and locally sourced. An absolute delight! Everything is organic, of course. Available in the farm shop or in the online store.
Getting there
The Wieland family's farm is difficult to reach by public transport. On request, the family offers a shuttle service to and from Bowil.
