Power hills
Power hills are our charging friendly sockets. These mobile charging stations are placed along the Hügu Himu routes and offer 3x3 sockets at each location, which you may use free of charge. Important: There are no chargers or cables available on site. There are green (Hügu Himu), red (Herzroute) an yellow (SSES-Edition) power hills distributed throughout the Emmental. While the battery sucks on the power grid, the guesthouse invites you to linger and enjoy.
Battery charging stations
As battery charging stations, we use the existing infrastructure of the Herzroute, which is happy to provide this service to the growing e-bike community. The locations are equipped with fast chargers. It should be noted that the charging options are explicitly oriented to the rental FLYERS from Rent a Bike, as the service is primarily geared towards these guests (type FLYER Gotour5). If the chargers / plugs fit your battery, you may of course also charge your own e-bike here.
Rental Station
The rental stations are operated by our partner Rent a Bike. Those who do not have their own e-bike or would like to make the journey uncomplicated by public transport, simply reserve an e-bike and explore the Hügu Himu at will. The rental stations are located at the starting point of a tour and are ideally accessible by public transport. By the way: If you are on the road for several days, you will receive a quick charger from the rental station with the rental FLYER and can also conveniently charge the battery at the overnight accommodation or at the power hills along the route.
Third-party charging station
This category lists charging facilities that are not provided and operated by Emmental Tourismus or the official hire partner Rent a Bike. As an e-bike guest, you can also charge your e-bike here, but each of the providers has its own individual equipment and design. Please bring your own charger for charging at these charging points.
