The main reasons for this are as follows:

• There are a number of hurdles to overcome between development and completion of the route. Changes may be made until all the relevant authorities and owners have given their approval. Once the route is open, changes to the rules are usually only marginal.
• SwitzerlandMobility & Outdooractive are based on terrain models with different resolutions, although SwitzerlandMobility already takes small differences into account. Depending on the topology, this can result in minor or major deviations. The Hügu Himu is located in the Emmental, and the unique hilly landscape means that there are some striking differences, which can lead to planning uncertainties for guests. For this reason, from now on (April 2021), we will only communicate the altitude data from SwitzerlandMobility and have also manually adjusted the data on Outdooractive.
