It used to be called Dürrgraben, but was renamed with the publication of Simon Gfeller's novel "Heimisbach." Geilisgut has the postal code of Heimisbach, but is geographically closer to Unterfrittenbach in Zollbrück.

The dairy farm also rents out a 3-room apartment on the first floor of the farmhouse. The vacation apartment has a living room/bedroom with 3 beds, a four-bed room, a dining room, a small kitchen, and a shower/WC. Non-smoking apartment.

One of the most beautiful hiking routes starts in Zollbrück, goes via Unterfrittenbach and Geilisgut to Lüderenalp, and continues via Lushütten to the most famous place in the Emmental: the Napf.
