Sädelchehr, die kurze Sumiswalder Genusstour

Experience the culinary side of the municipality of Sumiswald and enjoy the view of the municipality and the Bernese Alps on a short hike.

The start is at the village square, from where you walk along the gently ascending Spitalstrasse/Schoneggstrasse to Sädellinde.

This is the highest point of the short hike. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Bernese Alps and the village of Sumiswald before continuing your hike over the wide hills to the Sädel farm.

There you can decide whether to take the extended leisurely tour via Engelberg or take the shortcut to Löhli in the direction of the retirement home and back to the village square.

You will have now enjoyed yourself for about an hour and done something for your fitness. This short leisurely tour is around 3.5 kilometers long and a real pleasure at any time of day. It is also very suitable as a short walking or biking route, or simply for a leisurely stroll. The difference in altitude is 70.8 m.

You can recharge your batteries with a z'Nüni, z'Mittag, or z'Vieri at the Sumiswald inns.

The pleasure tour can of course also be hiked in reverse order, for example, you can eat something tasty at the beginning of the short hike and then take a digestive walk afterwards.
