The dishes are conjured up from natural, regional, and seasonal ingredients. Our menu depends on which products are currently available and how we can combine them in the best possible way. This makes the menu more interesting than any surprise egg. No one has ever left Platanenhof thirsty. Wine is always a good choice—particularly fine wines from small, select wineries accompany the meal and delight the palate.
Banquets and events
For groups of 20 or more, we open our doors for your banquet on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. For groups of 40 or more, we can also take reservations for private parties on all other days.
Getting there and parking
- There is plenty of parking available for cars.
- A 5-minute walk from Kirchberg-Alchenflüh train station. The bus from Burgdorf stops every 30 minutes directly in front of the Platanenhof and will take you home safely every 30 minutes until 11:30 p.m. Please get off at the Bütikofenstrasse stop.
