The Blapbach restaurant is a family business and is now in its fourth generation. In 1922, Friedrich Arthur sold the business to the Hofer family. Until 1987, the business was run as a farm and inn in the adjacent farmhouse. Walter and Niklaus Hofer then decided to separate the two businesses. This led to the creation of the restaurant at its current location. Over 30 years ago (1992), Hans and Therese Hofer took over the management of the restaurant.
Cuisine
Enjoy delicious home-style delicacies from the kitchen of the Blapbach restaurant in the dining room or on the new terrace with its beautiful view. The terrace can seat up to 140 people, the dining room has 32 seats, and the Sääli and dining room together offer space for 80 people.

Would you like to celebrate your event surrounded by greenery and breathtaking views? At Blapbach, you will find rooms for your celebration. The Sääli can accommodate 24 people. On Easter Sunday, there is also a Ländlermix.
How to get there
Trubschachen is located roughly halfway between Bern and Lucerne. From there, turn off the main road towards Blapbach. Follow the paved road uphill for about 7 km and you will reach your destination. You can also travel from Eggiwil; at the Löwen in Eggiwil, follow the signs towards Blapbach. After about 7 km uphill, you will reach your destination.
