Kinderparcours Chüechlitiger, Langnau

The Chüechlihus Regional Museum in Langnau is one of the largest museums with a local history collection in Switzerland. The Chüechlitiger accompanies young people aged around 8-12 and younger children with the help of adults on a journey into the past of the Oberemmental valley.

The young people help the museum mascot solve various puzzles: they search for clues, combine information, draw, glue, stamp, craft, and make things—until they find the solution and can collect the little surprise that awaits them at the end. It is a discovery tour for the curious. The Chüechlitiger is designed to encourage children to experience history and connect it with their own lives in the here and now.

Price

The colorful "Chüechlitiger" brochure can be purchased at the museum ticket office for CHF 4.50 (including craft materials, instructions, and several surprises to take home – discount available for purchases of two or more).

Individual visits or groups

The children's trail is suitable for individual visits – with the family or as an outing with a godchild – as well as for group visits, e.g. elementary and middle school classes (from 3rd grade) or children's birthday parties.
