Farm
The farm has been run by Elisabeth and Manfred Hodel since 1983. In 2022, Andrea Hodel took over the business and now runs it together with her parents as a multi-generational community. In addition to cows and their calves, the farm is home to various breeds of chickens, rabbits, cats, and the farm dog Yuri.
Agriculture
As an IP Suisse farm, the farm is run in such a way that the natural resources of soil, air, and water are preserved for the future.
Assisted living
In addition to three assisted living facilities, the Alma Verde farm community offers professional support with a fixed daily structure. With empathy and professional competence, people are supported on their individual life paths and encouraged to develop self-efficacy and independence.
Bed & Breakfast
The lovingly converted bee house offers a relaxing atmosphere in 12m2. Where bees once lived, you can now feel at home. Keen noses can still smell the scent of wax in the air, and those interested in history will find the framed building permit for the bee house from 1943 on the wall.
B&B facilities
The bee house has a gallery with a 1.40x2.0m mattress and a pull-out sofa bed. The bathroom with toilet, shower, and washbasin is 20m away. The bee house is equipped with dishes, 2 hotplates, a small refrigerator, and a Swedish stove. On request, we serve a hearty breakfast. "Lisus Gärtli" with its beautiful flowers and lush vegetables, together with the beautiful farmhouse, forms the backdrop for the little bee house. All nestled in the soft, green hills of the front Emmental. Pure vacation feeling. For absolute relaxation, there is also the option of ending the day in the fire-heated outdoor bathtub. Wonderful conditions for falling asleep blissfully happy in the cozy bee house.
Team event
The atmosphere on the farm allows for a relaxing change of scenery. Perhaps just the right thing for your team event? The offer includes lunch and, if interested, team games to help a group of up to 10 people grow together in an unfamiliar context. Those interested are welcome to gain an insight into the farm.
