The inn is located in a beautiful old farmhouse, in the middle of the forest at 1,054 m in Wasen/Emmental, with numerous hiking and biking trails. It is peaceful here and there is no cell phone reception. The cozy rooms invite you to linger. On warmer days, the inn offers a terrace with a direct view of the Luderenalp. Hikers and cyclists with tired legs will find deck chairs and a cozy pallet sofa.

Restaurant
You will be spoiled with fine, down-to-earth dishes, salads, and delicious desserts. The chef always creates something to suit the needs of vegetarians and vegans. Children will also get their money's worth, as chef Olivier knows exactly what the little ones want. There is a play corner for children and you will also find a changing table in the disabled toilet. Here you will find "Chrüsimüsi crockery" from the Brockenstube, just like in Gotthelf's day. The soup and tripe are also served as in the old days, with an old soup tureen for guests to help themselves. In the Gotthelfstübli, the tables are decorated with old embroidered tablecloths and the walls are adorned with unique items from earlier times.

Hotel
The Kuttelbad has a cozy dormitory with 14 beds. For a special overnight stay, two dormitories, each with three beds, are available in an idyllic atmosphere. Or you can sleep under the stars in the sleeping hut. On warmer nights, the two single beds can be moved in and out. The roof of the sleeping hut is made of Plexiglas. This allows you to enjoy the stars, the moon, or the raindrops. The sleeping pod can be heated on cooler nights. Wellness At Kuttelbad, silence reigns and there is no internet. It is a wonderful, idyllic, and peaceful place where you can pamper yourself. Whether it's with culinary delights, a sauna in the middle of nature, a full moon bath in the hot tub, or a soothing body massage. Of course, the barefoot path with its cold Kneipp showers is also a must.
