Gartenbauschule Oeschberg, Koppigen
Stroll through the paths of the Oeschenberg Horticultural School.
Oeschberg provides practical and technical vocational training to enable gardeners of various skill levels to work successfully in ornamental plant production, gardening, landscaping, and green space maintenance.
In addition, the horticultural school has been offering training as a florist since 2005. With these training objectives, the Oeschberg Horticultural School deliberately sets itself apart from the more scientifically and technically oriented University of Applied Sciences in Wädenswil (HSW) and the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil (HSR), which focuses on green planning.
Every even-numbered year at the end of June, the Swiss trade fair for horticulture, fruit growing, and vegetable cultivation takes place on the school grounds.
Visitors have free access to all outdoor facilities and the show garden. A walk through the grounds is an impressive experience at any time of year.
