A visit to the Burgdorf outdoor pool is just the thing to cool off on hot days.

One special feature of the outdoor pool is its architecture. The original design and layout from 1929 remain largely unchanged. The symmetrically arranged changing rooms and the classicist style of the building give the outdoor pool a nostalgic charm. From the pool, visitors can enjoy a view of Burgdorf Castle, which sits enthroned high on the Schlossberg hill.

The outdoor pool offers the following



  • 50 m swimming pool (8 lanes)

  • Non-swimmer pool

  • Paddling pool

  • 1- and 3-meter diving boards

  • Sunbathing lawn



Catering
Small self-service bistro available for catering. 


Season
The outdoor pool is open from mid-May to the end of September.

The outdoor pool can be reached by public transport (bus) to the "Hallenbad" stop. Paid parking is available.
