The vacation apartment is located in the midst of beautiful nature in a quiet area and is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours through the picturesque Emmental. A wonderful place to relax and unwind.
The accommodation
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the 200-year-old farmhouse and was completely renovated in 2024. You can expect an open, light-filled living room with a sofa bed and double bed, which can be separated by a sliding wall, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with a dining table, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The fire in the Swedish stove provides cozy warmth and a comfortable atmosphere on cold autumn and winter days. A projector (without laptop) for movie nights can be provided on request. A covered, spacious terrace with a view of the countryside and the biotope invites you to linger and relax. The fire pit with barbecue and cooking facilities and a washing machine can be used. Parking is available next to the house. Donkey walks are offered on request. Guest access Guests have access to the entire ground floor, including the spacious surroundings (covered seating area, biotope, fire pit). The apartment is accessible via a path or an external staircase.
Other important information
The house is located at 750 meters above sea level at the end of a path. There is parking and turning space next to the house. Emmenmatt train station is a 15-20 minute walk away. Trains run every half hour to Bern or Langnau-Lucerne. The nearest shopping facilities are in Langnau (10 minutes away by car). There are various shopping options there.
The kitchen is equipped with various pots and pans, all necessary crockery and cutlery, a Pialetti coffee maker, a raclette oven, and a fondue pot. Oils, vinegar, and spices are always available. Coffee, tea, and sugar are also included in the basic equipment.
