This spacious, cozy vacation apartment in the heart of the Emmental offers comfort in all seasons: in winter with a crackling fireplace, in summer with balmy summer evenings on the balcony, in the arbor, or in the garden. Ideal for families or couples.
Lower floor
The kitchen in the vacation apartment is functionally laid out and equipped. A traditional 3-plate electric stove, oven, spacious refrigerator with small freezer compartment, and dishwasher invite you to prepare simple meals. A toaster, mixer, raclette oven, and cheese fondue set are also available.
The bathroom of the vacation apartment was completely rebuilt in 2017. A spacious shower, toilet, sink, and a towel rack that is heated all year round are available.
The Emmental farmhouse parlor invites you to eat and linger. The large table with traditional benches is perfect for cozy celebrations. The ambiance with the original spruce paneling and fillings and the built-in buffet are testament to high craftsmanship and were installed in 1973. You can read or ponder on the sofa and write your travel or vacation diary at the small secretary desk.
Upper floor
The south bedroom of the vacation apartment has a large double bed and built-in wardrobes. French doors lead to a small sunny balcony that invites you to linger.
The north bedroom has two single beds. The room is ideal as a children's room or playroom, and the sloping ceiling makes it very cozy.
There is a small toilet on this floor.
Large living room
An intermediate staircase leads to the large living room, which is 30 m² in size and has a ceiling height of 3.2 meters. When the fireplace crackles in winter, you make yourself comfortable on the sofas and armchairs, enjoy a good drink, and listen to your favorite music, you know you've arrived on vacation...
Location
Hämlismatt is a small hamlet on the Biglen-Lützelflüh side road, located in the municipality of Arni in the Emmental region. The house with the vacation apartment was originally a farm building dating from 1903. Several farms still surround the building, which stands at an altitude of 850 meters. A sunny and fog-free high plateau offers views to the west of the Längenberg, Guggershörnli and Gantrisch mountain range and the Fribourg Alps as far as Moléson and La Berra. To the north and east, a mountain range with extensive forests invites you to go for walks and hikes. When there is enough snow, a cross-country ski trail is groomed in Arnisäge (500 m) in winter.
Garden
The large garden with a proud spruce tree and other trees, complete with seating area, is available for use by the apartment. It includes a large lawn, which is also ideal for children.

Arrival: 3:00 p.m. or by arrangement
Departure: If the landlord is responsible for the final cleaning, the house must be left tidy and swept clean by 10:00 a.m. If the tenant is responsible for the final cleaning, departure is at 1:00 p.m.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is only permitted outside the apartment.
