Our farm is home to a herd of suckler cows in the winter months and goats in the summer months, which are milked outside in the milking parlour in the mornings and evenings. The tinkling of cow and goat bells gives your stay a rustic Alpine feel... almost like Heidi and Alpöhi.
Farmhouse for up to 6 people
The apartment on the ground floor has a living room with 2 sofas (one can be used as a sofa bed) and TV, a dining room with table, corner bench, and tiled stove, a kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, a bathroom with 1 toilet, sink, and shower, and a bedroom with a double bed. (1 baby cot is available free of charge). The upper floor offers a bedroom with 1 bunk bed and 2 single beds, which is only accessible from the outside via the arbor and has a special charm for children. The total area of the barn is approx. 70 m2 and is ideal for up to 6 people. Other amenities The bedroom and living room are heated with an electric stove, while the rest of the apartment is heated with wood (tiled stove). Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a parking space are available. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the beautiful terrace with seating or the covered arbor. A barbecue, a playground with a swing, slide, sandbox, and paddling pool, a hammock, and three deck chairs offer space for the whole family to relax and play! Pets are also welcome. Herb walks
The farm is located at a very convenient starting point for short or long hikes. On several dates from May to August, the farmer's wife, Regula Gerber, will accompany you on a 2.5-hour hike through the hilly landscape of the Emmental, where you will explore wild herbs and learn about their properties and effects.
Time-out barrel
At the Ober Mörisegg farm, you also have the opportunity to spend the night in a time-out barrel surrounded by greenery.
