Tip 1 - Herzschlaufe Burgdorf
With the East and West Loop, the Burgdorf Herzschlaufe offers two day tours in a class of their own. The town of Burgdorf is the perfect starting point. Both routes promise quiet roads at high altitudes with fantastic views as far as the Bernese Alps. There are numerous opportunities for an enjoyable stopover along the routes. Back in the town of Zähringen, art lovers and history buffs will get their money's worth.
Experience tip: Enjoy a restful night and a delicious snack at Burgdorf Castle.
Tip 2 - Dr gross Sumiswauder
This route offers a double portion of cycling and nature enjoyment. On the Herzroute, you cycle over the heights directly to the “Schouchäsi” in Affoltern, which offers delightful moments. Refreshed, the route continues through the Oberaargau region. From Hüswil in Lucerne, the Herzschlaufe Napf leads back to Sumiswald and includes some of the most beautiful sections that Switzerland's cycling country has to offer. An impressive tour with a high enjoyment factor!
Experience tip: recharge your batteries at the Emmental Schaukäserei and immerse yourself in the world of Emmental cheese on the Königsweg.
Tip 3 - Kambly Experience Tour
There are many moments of wonder along the almost 30 kilometers. From Langnau, the route quickly climbs up to the heights at Hüpfenboden and Blapbach. The views are impressive! After a pleasant descent, you reach Trubschachen, where a visit to Kambly's land of milk and honey is a must. The app provides interesting information about the landscape and its products, which are processed into the famous “Bretzeli”, at the posts along the route.
